"The best thing you can do is fall in love with what you do. Like many pros, photography started out as a hobby for me. Eventually, I started taking photos for the advertising agency where I served as marketing director.
However, I wanted to own my own business, and PPA was recommended to me. I invested in education before I did anything else. I've found that running a business is like photographing a bunch of kids: wild, but rewarding. And clients can feel that."
